The location for this house is a mature farm meadow bisected by a seasonal stream which is bounded by mature hardwoods lining the banks. This meadow facing west has magnificent views of a stretch of the Green Mountains from Nebraska Valley to Smugglers Notch. To join these two meadows the house is placed close to the stream edge with a portion of the house cantilevering over. It is with both regret and anticipation that I make the announcement of my retirement and the closing of the doors of Tektonika Studio Architects. This transition has been underway since mid-2023 and throughout 2024 with the final steps becoming official January 1, 2025.
